Poptivism

PopSockets’ core brand purpose was called Poptivism — positive impact enabled by Popsockets. Here’s how it worked: You pick the cause you care about, create a custom PopSocket for that cause, and the company donates 50% of the sale of that PopSocket to that cause.

For the launch of Poptivism, we joined forces with artists FriendsWithYou and built a bouncy house art installation and brought it to ComplexCon in Long Beach, CA. We also leveraged our diverse network of followers and influencers, including Zendaya, Becky G, Antoni Porowski, Yara Shahidi, Vonn Miller, Gus Kenworthy, Laura DIY, BlackBear, and Chloe Bennet to build hype around the platform.

Since its launch, Popsockets has donated over $3 million to all kinds of causes.

I also wrote a silly little spot and leveraged the talents of illustrator Mike Perry to inspire folks to become Poptivists themselves.
